Readers of our columnist, Kevin Scarbinsky, either love him or, well, not. Now, they'll be able to share their views with him daily -- not only on AL.com, but also on the radio.

Next Monday (Feb. 9), he will begin a new afternoon weekday radio show called, naturally enough, "Scarbinsky." It will air 1-3 p.m. Monday through Friday on WNSP Sports Radio 105.5-FM in Mobile.

It will also be streamed live on AL.com and can be heard on the WNSP app.

"It is wonderful to have the opportunity to present great, fresh, locally relevant content like Kevin is ready to deliver," said Tim Camp, WNSP's director of operations/programming. "This show will be a game-changer for WNSP and a complement to our lineup."

Scarbinsky has been a fixture in the sports media in Alabama since Bo Jackson's Heisman-winning senior season at Auburn. He's covered 12 college football national championship games, 16 Final Fours, five World Series and the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.

In addition to his work for AL.com and the Alabama Media Group, Scarbinsky also is a panelist on the weeknight sports-talk TV show "The Zone" on WABM My68 in Birmingham.

"I'm excited to get back into daily radio, especially on WNSP, which has a rich history as Mobile's all-sports station," Scarbinsky says. "We'll be talking about the things sports fans in Alabama care about the most, and you'll get the chance to talk back."

And we're sure you will.
