Join us at the Capitol for
Watershed Wednesday on January 28, 2015

Watershed Wednesday (WW) is an event that MWCC hosts during legislative years for watershed groups to come to Helena and table during the legislature. This is an educational opportunity to share the great work you do with our representatives. This year’s WW will be an afternoon session and MWCC will provide coffee and treats for legislators and staff.  This event is also coordinated with MWCC’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, January 29th so that you can travel once for two great events.  We hope that you will be able to join us. Travel stipends to these events are available.

If you are interested in attending this event please join us, and other watershed groups at the Capitol Rotunda from 2-4 p.m. For those groups who plan to table please note that setup will be between 1:15-1:45 p.m.

For more information visit our website. Questions? Email us at info@mtwatersheds.org

Watershed and Wetland Stewardship Award Call for Nominations

Every two years, the Montana Wetland Council and the Montana Watershed Coordination Council jointly honor recipients of two stewardship awards: The Montana Wetland Stewardship Awards, and the Montana Watershed Stewardship Award.

The Montana Wetland Stewardship Awards recognize individuals and/or teams who exemplify excellence, innovation and extraordinary commitment in wetland protection, restoration, and conservation.

The Montana Watershed Stewardship Award recognizes innovative, locally led approaches to restoring and enhancing Montana’s watersheds.
