Jane Anthony is a USA Today best-selling author of contemporary/new adult romance & women’s fiction. A reader proclaimed “queen of angst”, she approaches tough subjects with a gritty voice that tugs on your heart and leaves you breathless.
Jane gives a bit of herself and her quirky knowledge in each novel by incorporating her love of music through a book-specific playlist and adding things uniquely Jane to the plot, like her crazy family or '80s trivia. When she’s not busy being mom or Mrs. A, you'll find her at a concert, lost in a book, or watching horror movies with her husband.

I have only recently discovered Jane Anthony and I can honestly say she is on my list of must read authors. As in her previous books, Resurrecting Hope is very smartly written and captivating. She has created three dimensional characters in Hope and Hank and allowed their story to evolve, rather than just serving it up wrapped in a bow. The build up kept me interested in their lives, their story. And I love that!
Resurrecting Hope offers all the feels from love to anger, sadness to joy and fear to ecstasy. There are Oh s**t moments, in between the twists that made me think WTF; intermingled with sensual moments that left me needing to fan myself to cool my sparked libido.
In conclusion... I FLOVE this book. Ms. Anthony definitely delivered a sexy, intriguing and well written story. I highly recommend Resurrecting Hope to all who enjoy suspenseful romance. I rate this book 5 absolute stars and can't wait for the next offering from this author.
Jane Anthony tells a tale. The characters could be your neighbor but I couldn't connect to them. I liked the storyline. I just didn't love it.
Rebecca/Hope gets involved with the wrong man, then flees the abusive relationship,
hides out in a small town where she meets a man capable of healing her heart and soul.
The twist is the viciousness that lives inside the man she fled.
Read the warning as there are graphic scenes of violence/abuse.
Coincidence or fate? Another man, Hank comes into Hope’s life twice.
Once as a stranger, the next a neighbor.
Be prepared to blush with the raw erotic scenes.
Each is given a second chance but there’s danger ahead and secrets
that will either strengthen or destroy them.
Both Hope and Hank are damaged and it’s their painful memories
that bond them together.
Angst, hot sex, secrets and danger, what else could a reader ask for.
This is the 3rd. book I've read from Jane Anthony and I'm sure they'll be many more.
Five years later she is playing the role of devoted mother who lost her love in the war what she doesn't expect is the father of her baby to show up again after these years and discover all the lies she has kept hidden for so long. Hank not only wants to be in his daughter's life but he wants Hope more than his next breathe but he knows she has secrets! Those secrets could cause more harm then good if they ever come out!
An excellent book that is written about a woman that was broken down so bad by a man who swore to protect her but was given hope by a man that swore his life for her!
Hank Lawless definitely did not disappoint! Hank is an alpha male that's tough and very good with his hands, he's sweet and loving and so deliciously hot!!!
Hope Moon is a sweet and kind single mom that's guarded and righty so! The pain and suffering she experienced from her mobster husband just broke my heart. The chemistry between Hank and Hope is so sexy and passionate it will leave you swooning and begging for more. This is Jane Anthony's first dark romance and in my opinion she nailed it! Jane you are amazing!!! I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves an amazing love story.

The book has diary entries from the past giving a glimpse of what Rebecca had to endure and 2 POV's so you can really get into their heads.
There's sadness, fear, hatred, lust, happiness, love, scorching hot sex scenes and emotional rollercoaster times that will have you screaming in your head 'NO that can't happen'.
****⛔ SOME SPOILERS AHEAD ⛔****
Rebecca Benedetti is an abused wife, Rebecca is now dead and in her place is Hope Moon. That day was the turning point in her life, and the best decision she made.
Away from her sick in the head twisted husband Jack. Moving to a small town, in a house that's seen better day, then she has a quick romp with the tatted hot as sin handyman.
5 years later the hands on handyman is back, he has a name now, he's Hank Lawless and he wants her, but there's things he doesn't know. she's covered the truth with lies to protect herself and Kira. There's no way she can un-spin the web of lies that is her life is based on.
Hank Lawless has been hurt in the past leading to him being a Hit it & Quit it guy. That is until the one woman he hasn't forgotten about in 5 years, is right near him. She's sexy as hell, but her eyes hide so much more. She's a hot mess. They have an orgasmic sex life, but he wants more. He's determined to win Hope's love and will do anything for her and Kira. He wants to be a family to the two Moon girls.
Hank moves in next door with his brother - he was a hot and steamy one night (actually day) stand and they were never supposed to meet again. He's the complication her life doesn't need but one she very much needs - Hank and Hope have hot chemistry.
I really can't recommend this book enough, at times hard to read as the journal entries revealing the terror of her former life run alongside the story of her current life but totally worth it.
