EXCLUSIVE: It may be a wet and gloomy week, but there is something that is guaranteed to chase the storm clouds away – a music video from Jedward.
Yes the twins are back on the scene just two months after the release of Ferocious, this time with a brand new offering called Make Your Own Luck, and giving us the exclusive first-look, it’s a treat to the eyes and ears in the only way music from Jedward can be.
There’s stripping, naked torso shots and lots of mean and moody looks to the camera. Rather racy.
Fans will even get to see what Edward looks like as he sleeps in bed.
It also features a cameo appearance from none other than Celebrity Big Brother’s Perez Hilton – his second Jedward video appearance (the first was in Bad Behaviour) – who kicks the video off when he opens his laptop from inside his office and eagerly declares: ‘Brand new Jedward. Let’s check it out!’
The video tells the story of two men in California whose lives could not be more different. John Grimes plays a man down on his luck who dreams of a better life lived by his twin brother Edward.
While John’s character fixed old cars for a living and does other odd jobs to pay the rent, Edward lives in a beautiful house, drives a sports car and lives the life posing for pictures with fans.
The 22-year-old lads also flash their nipples and lift weights.
As they sing ‘make your own luck. Keep your eye on the prize’, the boys then bump into each other on the street and high five.
Also starring in the video is American comedian Margaret Cho who hires John to clean her floors with a toothbrush, and cut her grass with scissors for a pittance. In one hilarious scene she soaks him after he brings her the wrong drink.
The boys made the video themselves and told Metro.co.uk: ‘We are super excited about it!’
They also revealed they are already working on their next video, adding: ‘The next music video is more serious its called Leave a Mark on this World and we are getting it together at the moment’.
Make Your Own Luck is released as a single on January 30 and paves the way for their as-yet-untitled fourth album expected later this year.
