Best Western Opens or Updates Six Hotels

NATIONAL REPORT—Best Western Hotels & Resorts has opened or updated six of its hotels across the country, including three of its newest brands SureStay Plus.

SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Oklahoma City North Opens

The SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Oklahoma City North has opened its doors.

Located at 6101 N. Santa Fe Ave., the hotel has 87 guestrooms and eight suites, with flat-screen television, microwave and mini fridge. The hotel also offers an outdoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, free wireless internet and two meeting rooms to accommodate up to 98 people.

It is near the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma City Zoo, Myriad Botanical Gardens, Remington Park Casino and Bricktown—an entertainment district home to restaurants, piano lounges and chic wine bars.

SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Somerset Debuts

The SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Somerset has opened its doors in Somerset, PA.

Located at 165 Waterworks Rd., the hotel has 57 guestrooms, each with either a king or two queen beds, a large flat-screen television, microwave and mini fridge. The hotel also offers a fitness center, complimentary hot breakfast, free wireless internet and covered parking spots to help shield guests from inclement weather.

The property’s location is a short drive from skiing at Hidden Valley Resort and Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Laurel Hill State Park and Ohiopyle State Park, and Idlewild amusement park and SoakZone Water Park.

SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Vernal Makes Its Debut in Utah

The SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Vernal has opened its doors in Vernal, Utah.

Located at 1935 South 1500 East, the hotel has 76 guestrooms and four suites; each room offers a kitchenette that includes a stove top, microwave and full-size refrigerator. Guests can enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub, 24-hour fitness center, complimentary hot breakfast and free wireless internet.

The property’s location is ideal for guests interested in exploring the nearby area as it is just a short drive from Dinosaur National Monument, Steinaker State Park, Moonshine Arch and Fantasy Canyon.

Best Western Plus Vineyard Inn and Suites Undergoes Renovation

The Best Western Plus Vineyard Inn and Suites in Penn Yan, NY has re-opened after a $900,000 renovation.

Under the leadership of Brian Zerges, owner of the Penn Yan Hospitality Group, the project is the most recent accommodation facelift in the area. The renovation supports the community’s initiative to keep the Finger Lakes region aesthetically appealing to visitors. Located just one mile from Keuka Lake, the hotel’s revamp project was finished in three stages over the course of 10 weeks.

Originally built in 2005, the Best Western Plus Vineyard Inn and Suites joined the family of independently owned Best Western-branded hotels. Highlights of the renovation include a contemporary interior decor with new furniture, wallpaper, carpeting, window shutters and lighting in all guestrooms and suites. Photography of the local Finger Lakes vineyards by local photographer, Stu Gallagher, will be featured throughout the common spaces of the hotel.

Beachside Best Western Opens in Pensacola Beach, FL

Best Western Beachside Resort, owned by a partnership of Innisfree Hotels and RREAF, has opened.

The hotel reopens as a Best Western hotel after completing a $4-million renovation. Every room has a 43-in. flat-screen TV, pillow top mattress, a microwave and refrigerator. A variety of rooms feature upgraded views of the pool or the Gulf of Mexico.

Guests have access to a variety of amenities for their beachside vacation, with two resort-style pools, a hot tub, a splash pad and two fire pits. The hotel has an onsite restaurant and bar Fish Heads to make going from happy hour to the pool a breeze.

Best Western Wichita Northeast Opens

Best Western Wichita Northeast, owned by Manish Patel, has opened in Wichita, KS.

The property reopened as a Best Western hotel after completing a $1.7-million renovation. Every room has a 42-in. LED TV, with 50-in. TVs in the suites, a mini fridge and a microwave.

A 24-hour fitness center and an indoor heated pool are available. The hotel is near the Botanic Gardens of Wichita, Sedgwick County Zoo and Kansas Aviation Museum.
