Engagement Coordinator at London Museum of Water & Steam

The London Museum of Water & Steam is a family-focused Museum that tells the story of London’s water supply, our site, its people and the water pumping engines that helped make London the city it is today.

The role:
The Museum is looking for an Engagement Coordinator (maternity cover) for 9 months.

Are you passionate about community and family engagement? Can you use social media to communicate with audiences? You will work closely with the Museum Director and Front of House Coordinator to deliver activities and programming for the local community and families, as well as leading on communication via social media and the website.

Joining our team will give you lots of opportunities to try out new ideas, work across several areas and create your own plans for the Museum.

What we’re looking for:
The Engagement Coordinator will be pivotal to the Museum’s future as we re-open during 2021.

With a focus on working with local communities and families, in person and though social media, will need someone with enthusiasm, creativity and a passion for making museums accessible for all audiences.

Salary:
£24,000 per annum, pro-rated for three days/21 hours a week.

This is a part time position (21 hours), and a maternity cover for 9 months.
