About Our Panelists: 

Alex Raffi: 

 

Alex Raffi is an AMA Allstar known for his presentation Creative Courage. Alex is a husband, a father, business owner, artist, editorial cartoonist, animator, book illustrator, and Creative Director and Partner at Imagine Communications, a full service marketing and public relations firm. Alex is a Nevada Press Association award winner for his illustrations and editorial cartoons. He is a sought after guest speaker throughout Southern Nevada, advising  business owners and professionals on putting creativity back into their professional lives and environments.

Beth Lano

 

Beth Lano is the Associate Creative Director of The Geary Company. Beth joined Geary Company in 2012, after a long association with the Geary family as a writer and voice actor. She has extensive experience in media relations, directing creative brainstorming sessions, and writing press releases, editorial and advertorial copy for publication. She has a long history in Las Vegas broadcasting, most recently with KNPR, but previously with KSTJ, KJUL, KQOL and KNUU. Her varied clientele history includes the arts, broadcasting, communication, construction, entertainment, hospitality, legal, medical and real estate industries. She holds a BFA in Music Performance (French horn) from Indiana University, Bloomington.

 

Kathy began her award winning career in advertising design and account service where she was honored as the Account Executive of the Year by Women In Communications. In 1998, she and her business partner launched their own agency-Sutton Watkins Advertising and Marketing. Since then, she has supported and remained involved with organizations which benefit from her expertise in the field while growing her business. Kathy has been awarded numerous honors for her outstanding accomplishments and contributions to promote women's issues in Nevada honoring our heroes, Outstanding Partner Award, and an award for ongoing contributions and support for area health education center for Southern Nevada.

Shari Sutton

Shari Sutton is president of Sutton Watkins Advertising & Marketing and MMS which is a division of Sutton Watkins that focuses on self-storage and multi-family housing. She has been a respected agency principal since 1998, with expertise in senior management, marketing and advertising. Shari is responsible for several prominent accounts, including serving as marketing director for StorageOne with multiple facilities in Nevada for the past 13 years.  Shari oversees the direct and grass roots marketing efforts of 17+ self-storage facilities.
