How your regular donation helps
Elisha and Ashley were just 10 and 8 when their dad Kristian took his own life. The girls had many questions: Why did he do it? Didn’t he love us? Why in our house? Why didn’t he leave a note? Their mum Janine, did her best to answer these questions while dealing with her own emotions, trying to sort the funeral and simply trying to survive. Winston’s Wish gave Janine, Elisha and Ashley the tools they needed to begin to navigate their grief as a family.
When you give regular donations to Winston’s Wish, you will receive updates from Janine, Elisha and Ashley over the course of a year. You can learn more about their story, see the progress they made and the support they received from Winston’s Wish.

I searched for hours on the internet for help and answers and in the first few months, it consumed me. That’s when Winston’s Wish entered our lives and gave us hope.

Make a one-off donation to Winston’s Wish and help us support the thousands of bereaved children and young people across the UK. We rely on voluntary charity donations for 86% of our income.
Giving in memory
Celebrate the memory of your loved one by giving to Winston’s Wish. You could create a tribute website to share memories, donate or fundraise in their memory or ask for donations instead of flowers at their funeral.
Payroll giving
Speak to your employer to find out if they have a payroll giving scheme – your donation comes directly to us from your salary each month and is tax free.
