Update: Collin Ferguson has been found safe
Lane County deputies are asking the public for help locating a missing Gresham man last seen Jan. 14 after "displaying odd behavior" at a store in the small community of Alsea.
Collin Ferguson, 35, told his father that he was heading to Astoria for work. But Ferguson's father filed a missing person report Sunday after a U.S. Forest Ranger reported Ferguson's vehicle had been found in Alsea four days earlier but hadn't moved since.
Ferguson is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds. He has reddish-brown hair and is pictured with a beard, although authorities say he is thought to be clean shaven.
Anyone who saw Ferguson is asked to call 541-682-4141.
