Will reconnects Eve, bringing her to life and persuades his dad to take her back to their home where they’ll need to keep Eve’s existence a secret to protect her.

But hiding Eve proves harder than expected. First Will’s best friend Lily Watson (Eubha Akilade) works out the truth, then his teacher Mr Bevan (David Ireland) turns up looking for him and ends up locked in the cellar by Eve.

Zac arrives at Will’s house determined to see Eve and stay until Eve returns. To keep them apart Lily tells Eve to stay with Abe so as not to ruin a surprise that she and Will are planning over at Will’s house. Abe sees through it, Eve comes home and when Zac confesses that he has feelings for Eve, Eve is over the moon.

Will and Lily do their very best to sabotage Zac and Eve’s conversation, until Eve has a brain wave. Determined to fill in the blanks, Eve asks Maddy to drive her to Calimov, where Zac worked, so she can understand who he was and why he is no longer in her life.

This technically comes true when Mary appears in the form of a hologram before her, revealing to Eve that she’s nearby, hiding in the woods. Eve tells Will, but he dismisses her ‘wish’ as a daydream.

While Lily and Will discuss Eve’s ‘dream’, Abe is eavesdropping in a bedroom cupboard.
