NSLS Hosts Breast Cancer Walk

The National Society of Leadership and Success held their Breast Cancer walk Friday, Nov. 3.


They set up a table in the University Center selling bracelets to raise awareness and money for the cause.


All the proceeds from the walk are being donated to the Kirkland Cancer Center in Jackson.

Lindee McCurley, staff advisor for Martin’s NSLS chapter, says that the honor society "has roots in leadership and and service."


The NSLS usually completes two community service project a year.


The walk was originally scheduled for last spring but had to be postponed due to COVID-19.
