Their deep dish gluten free pizza is the tastiest if had in a while. Sometimes gluten free crusts are soggy or taste too much like cauliflower. This one was buttery, crispy, and tasted like real crust! I got the ultimate supreme and it was great. Also, customer service was great!

Spitfire has a unique offering, and their pizzas are good. Sadly, my return after multiple good experiences has ended with them burning a bridge: Both the Detroit-style and thin crust pizzas were undercooked.
Truly a shame. This was a 5-star restaurant in my book, but I can no longer trust them to prepare edible food.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 10, 20241 check-in
Extremely friendly staff and quick service, an ideal snack before heading to the airport due to its proximity and price. It had a nice quiet atmosphere and the pepperoni and basil hot honey pizza wasn't overly sweet. Overall a very positive experience.

Excellent lunch pizza paired with the west coast ipa. My first time visiting and I'm very satisfied with my experience

Spitfire Craft Pizza & Pints in Boise specializes in Detroit style pizza, which is a rectangular pan pizza with a thick, crisp, chewy crust. It is traditionally topped to the edges with mozzarella and/or Wisconsin brick cheese, which caramelizes against the high-sided heavyweight rectangular pan.
Spitfire Craft Pizza & Pints opened in August 2018. I visited Spitfire Pizza for the first time on 6/2/23. I ordered The Detroiter ($18) - Smoked pepperoni under cheese, natural casing pepperoni on top. This is the small size. There's also a larger size available for $28. This was my first time trying the pizza, I was doing take-out, and didn't plan to eat the pizza in one sitting, so I asked that they only put the pizza sauce on top (as is traditional with Detroit style pizza) of two of the pizza squares. They sent me home with extra sauce.
Spitfire is new favorite pizza!!! The crust is exceptional. The combination of the carmelized cheese, nice chew, and buttery flavor is unbeatable. The pizza sauce was nice and savory, and the pepperoni was high quality. The pizza was perfectly cooked, as evidenced by the pepperoni cups.
Spitfire also offers hand tossed or thin crust pizza. They offer hand tossed Gluten - Free pizza. They have five Vegan pizza options on the menu. They offer 16 PNW craft beers, which are constantly changing.
Spitfire has a nice neighborhood feel. They have a lot of regulars. But whether you're a regular customer or not, you're going to be treated very well. The service was excellent!

The pizza is very tasty. That they require you to install an app to see the progress of your order is annoying. Dominoes seems to have figured out how to do it. That they tack on an "innovation fee" at the bottom of the order without mentioning, it is tacky and dishonest. Raise your prices, don't sneak it in as a surcharge.

Spitfire has great pizza! If you order at the restaurant, be prepared to drink a beer or two, as it takes a little while for the deep dish to cook.
The pizza is always delicious. Staff is friendly. My only suggestion would be to pull the weeds out front, put up a couple signs to let customers know that they are open. Inside could use a good cleaning.
I do recommend this place and will continue to be a customer.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 29, 2023
Very friendly and personable service, great craft beer selection. Pizza available in both square "Detroit" style as well as regular circular style pizza. Enjoyed a supreme Detroit style pizza and it was very fluffy with a crisp bottom and a garden salad with a sweet but slightly spicy vinaigrette.
Ambiance is low key sports bar: there are sports on Tv, booths, a bar and bar top seating.

We ordered delivery from here. Everything was made as ordered, and delivered in a timely fashion, but ultimately I wasn't overly wowed. It's not to say that the pizza is bad, because it definitely wasn't, it's just that there are better pizza places available in the surrounding area. I think the biggest pizza option was 14 inches, which seemed a bit small compared to other places.
