Prince William: ‘It’s quite hard spending time’ with the kids, ‘any free time I get I see them’

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge attend the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on November 09, 2019 in London, England.

Several nights ago, Prince William attended the Air Ambulance Charity gala in London. William used to work for the Air Ambulance thing – he was a “co-pilot” and the Queen bought the organization a shiny new helicopter so they would take William on. We later learned that it was mostly a scheme to explain why William refused to do royal duties, and we learned how he barely even qualified as a part-time “co-pilot.” Remember all of that? That was a pre-Meghan scandal – William lied about how much time he worked, and then he lied about his “rest days” from working on the EAAA. He wanted to pretend to be a big-time pilot, then he got bored with it after about six months, and then no one knew how the f–k he spent his time. We still don’t – William has been doing more events in the past two years, absolutely. But he still definitely keeps what would be considered a “part-time” schedule. So what does he do all day? No one knows. But… from the way William talks about his schedule, you would think that grueling royal duties kept him away from his wife and children constantly:

Prince William has said when he’s not working or performing royal duties, he spends “all his free time” with his kids. The Duke of Cambridge, 37, attended a gala dinner celebrating the 30th anniversary of London’s Air Ambulance charity, where he shared an insight into his life as a dad.

Speaking to British music icon Eric Clapton, he said it was difficult finding enough time to spend with his family.

“It’s the children,” he said, according to the Express. “It’s quite hard spending time with them. Any free time I get I see them.”

[From HuffPo UK]

Weirdly, Hello Magazine also covered some comments William made at this same event, and he also (maybe??) said: “With the children it’s quite hard to get the time off. Any free time I do get I sleep!” So… what is he doing? The bare minimum of royal duties, then his time off (i.e., the bulk of his time) is spent with the kids… and sleeping. I’m not going to play the “childcare is the default task of the mother” game, but at least when people say that Kate is a hands-on mom, I believe it. I believe Kate is doing the daily kid stuff and all of that. Do you believe it with William? That he spends his enormous amount of free time with his kids and/or sleeping? Perhaps when he isn’t working out with the yummy mummies at the posh gym??

    Such a weird comment.

Dude, you have nothing but free time!

Do you not see them in the evenings? Have dinner, play, read stories, help them with their homework?

No? Well where are you instead then? Because it’s not at work!

    • Giddy says:

Sadly, I can’t imagine William ever reading his children a bedtime story.

    • Rhys says:

In the second quote it sounds like he means it’s hard to get time off (for yourself) when you are a parent: “With the children it’s quite hard to get the time off. Any free time I do get I sleep!”

The firs quote of him being so busy he has no time for children makes zero sense.

      • BeanieBean says:

Right, I thought so much for ‘family first’ with that first quote–he’ll see his kids when/if he has the time (and yeah, WHAT is he doing?). But the second one sounds more like you never have downtime when you’re a parent. You know, so he can relate to the masses.

    • My3cents says:

He meant- any free time I have I’m sleeping around.
      There confusion fixed.

    • Megan says:

Maybe he means the kids are really busy. They have school, homework, sports, etc. Hard to find time in their jammed packed schedule.

      • MsIam says:

Then why did he say any free time “I” get and not any free time “they” get?

      • Megan says:

I was making a joke because no one believes William has a shortage of free time.

      • Nic919 says:

I read somewhere that said George and Charlotte are the hardest working Cambridges because they have to go to school five days a week. It’s not inaccurate when you think about it.

  2. Seraphina says:

Pray tell William of Cambridge, what exactly are you doing to keep yourself so busy? Tending to your rose garden perhaps?

Sorry, I could not resist. He is full of himself. Down with the monarchy!!!

    • Chaine says:

Lol exactly my thought. Those rose bushes won’t water themselves!

      • Seraphina says:

I’m sure planning the latest smear campaigns against his brother and his family takes up a great of energy. Oh yes, and keeping Kate in line.

      • notasugarhere says:

Kate keeps herself in line. She knew what he was (a rampant cheater) when she married him.

      • Seraphina says:

@NASH, or maybe Ma Middleton keeps them all in line. The puppeteer.

      • notasugarhere says:

Mummy Carole keeps them together, keeps this dysfunctional relationship on the edge of functioning. But I don’t think she would/could have done any of that if Kate hadn’t set her cap at William back when she was 14/5.

  3. RoyalBlue says:

I saw somewhere that he reads through a large box of papers a day as preparation for his Duchy takeover. So yea. Reading and napping.

  4. Flying fish says:

    He is such an ass.

  5. Jan says:

    Ugh he bores me

  6. Kittycat says:

Prince William is truly bizarre and out of touch.

    • BayTampaBay says:

More bizarre than anything else. There is no wonder QEII why constantly gives Cathy Cambridge support for staying with him.

  7. Iknow says:

This statement is just as idiotic as his “bored with racism” statement. I’m sure if he wanted to spend time with his children and take a few moments for himself, he could. He isn’t Prime Minister or a factory worker. Just shut the hell up!

  8. Bella DuPont says:

But trimming Rose Bushes IS time consuming work.

  9. Cidy says:

Not to be this person but… wtf do any of them do all day?

Let’s be real, most of their events are planned by other people, they just shoot ideas in the wind and then its up to the people who work 40 hours a week to put it together and their big moment is to show up. I’m talking about ALL royals, folks. When we are sitting around saying “they were hard at work.” Or “They worked this many events and now get a break” or “they went to meetings.” Or “she worked on her maternity leave.” (Kate, Meg, looking at yall.) Or “they went to a two hour seminar.” And at the end of the year we see that stupid calendar that says how much they worked.. they didnt work. They maybe wrote a little bit, maybe said a speech. But their job revolves around them just showing up places.

That’s what I mean when I quote “silly pseudo job.” This isnt a real job. No one is punching in and punching out.

I remember having small child around the time Kate was preggers, she might have even had the baby already? I dont know. Small child just turned three, and there was this article about how she had done some work even thought she had the baby. when I say I worked on my maternity leave I mean I showed up to my office with a carseat when our systems went down to get on calls, not a magazine or a fashion company or a celebrity called me and we chatted about an idea and it came to life.

So of course William doesnt work, none of them work.

This has been my soap box song.

    #abolishthemonarchy

    • DarlingDiana says:

I really enjoy the royals except Andrew and I completely agree with you. There isn’t one of them that really does the kind of work with the kind of schedule that normal people do. I think all of the major royals are good at what they do though. The Queen, The Wales, Cambridges, and the Suxxess all seem to be engaged and involved when their are with the public. That is really their job anyway. Please the public, uphold their duties, and insure the continuation of the House of Windsor.

    • bub244 says:

I totally agree. None of them do anything resembling a real job. Let’s get rid of them!!

    • Dali says:

Of course they don’t work. Royals don’t do that, commoners do that. They are choosen from god to spend the taxpayers money and do charity lol. The charity number is actually funny because the British empire is the reason for many problems in the world. They caused war and hunger and artificial borders which still cause massive ethnic problems in Africa, India etc. And They never said sorry. If they are this charitable, why they dont sell some palaces or jewellery? It’s all PR. Anyone who thinks this is not the case is very naive and watched too many disney movies imo. I despise every monarchy. They are the epitome of exploration and slavery.

    • tcbc says:

I agree with you, but isn’t that the case for 99% of very rich people, especially the ones who were born into wealth?

  10. Becks1 says:

it was SUCH a weird comment. First, he has more free time than the average parent, considering he has extensive household help to take care of the mundane aspects of life. Second, for a royal, for the future future king, he does not work that much. And since so many of his events are in London, where he lives with….his children, and presumably most of his meetings take place at KP, where he lives with….his children – how on earth is he not seeing them more?

I’m willing to give a slight benefit of the doubt and assume that he didnt mean these comments the way they are being interpreted, and it was more another attempt to try to be “normal Bill” and connect as a working parent, but I mean…….come on now. People see his schedule. Now people are wondering what he does all the time that he rarely sees his kids.

Like I said, maybe he didnt mean he rarely sees them, just that juggling kids and work commitments can be tricky. But, maybe he needs to run these kinds of seemingly off the cuff comments past someone before he says them?

    • Lorelei says:

Yes he also should have ran it past them before he told the staff of that place he visited (don’t remember which one) that he hadn’t bothered to read his briefing papers before they got there. I don’t think Normal Bill takes advice from anyone.

      • Montrealaise says:

That was during their visit to Canada a few years ago. I don’t remember the specific event, but I do remember how appalled I was, as a Canadian, that he was not only lazy but basically admitted his laziness.

      • notasugarhere says:

It was for a Diana-related bullying charity iirc.

      • Lorelei says:

Yes! That’s what it was. One of the people greeting him told him that Diana had been there, and he was visibly surprised, then just decided to admit out loud that he hadn’t read the briefing papers. (Not only insulting to the charity, but also not great for whoever was responsible for preparing them for him.) And people call Harry the dumb one. Nope.

    • Amy Too says:

ETA: sorry! Everyone else said this below and their ides that he’s at amner in Norfolk while she’s in KP to take the kids to school and get her blowouts every other day makes more sense than what I thought (she’s in Norfolk, he’s in London.) Do the middletons have a London house though? Maybe Kate and the kids stay there a lot. Maybe that’s also why it’s such a big deal that Kate goes to meetings at “her home” in KP. If she doesn’t really stay there all the time, then it makes sense that she sometimes doesn’t get to all the meetings and it’s a “big deal” when she does.

I wonder if Kate often takes the kids to stay somewhere else. I think William and Kate might live separately. I bet she’s in Norfolk a lot or at her parents’ house, and I bet he lives at KP in London more often. Because his comments almost sound like those of a divorced dad, or a dad who works in the city and lives in a small city apartment all week long and then goes home to the house in Connecticut suburbs that his wife and kids live in all the time.

      • BayTampaBay says:

“he’s at Anmer Hall in Norfolk while she’s at KP in London to take the kids to school and get her blowouts”

@Amy Too, Your comment makes complete sense and explains how Bill Cambridge had the time to take up the hobby of Norfolk Rose cultivation.

  11. Guest says:

I wonder if they are even living together 🤷‍♀️

    • Lorelei says:

@Guest now I am so curious about this because IMO it seems like a possibility that they’re not. Although I feel like something like that would have leaked by now? Who knows.

      • Sofia says:

I mean there was that Sun article that said William often went to suppers at Rose when Kate wasn’t around (or something like that)

      • Beach Dreams says:

Oh, I wouldn’t be surprised if KP buttered up the press to gloss over any discrepancies between the Cambridge family image and whatever the reality is. Even before his sudden affinity for the press this year (ahem), he and Kate did play the game with little chats, the occasional photo op, etc.. Plus, he’s 2nd in line to the throne AND more liked than his father. Both of those factors give him room to lean on the media should the stories get a little too close to home.

Case in point: @Sofia’s mention of that funny little “platonic suppers” remark in the Scottish Sun article. That article was edited hours after it came out and the mention of “platonic suppers” was no longer there.

    • Deedee says:

That’s my thought. He talks as though he has his own digs and has to make an appointment to see the kids.

      • Jodi says:

i feel like this would explain Harry’s comments on being ” in very different places” in the documentary. Harry appears very hands on, very much the family man who wouldn’t dream of being anywhere but by his wife’s side.

    • Becks1 says:

These quotes definitely make me think they are not living together. Someone else mentioned separate bedrooms but separate bedrooms wouldnt keep him from seeing the kids. I feel like he cant be in Norfolk bc he does a lot of regular events in London. Maybe lots of helicopter rides?

      • notasugarhere says:

He could be living in Norfolk while Kate is in London while the kids are in school 4-5 days a week. Since all of his helicopter flights are now concealed in a larger transportation budget, and the yew hedge was planted to conceal the landing site at KP? He could be helicoptering in from Anmer for London engagements and no one could track it.

      • Becks1 says:

@nota – that’s a good point. Wonder if that was part of the reason for the privacy hedge. They dont want anyone to be able to track how often William is using the helicopter by himself.

      • BayTampaBay says:

I personally think he is NOT staying at KP when in London. I think he is staying with his old Eton buddies as they all have homes in London or better yet second homes in London that they may not being using on a daily or weekly basis as they are living on their country estates tending to their business interests.

      • Nic919 says:

There is likely a separate bedroom setup at KP, as there was in all those types of large homes since marriages in the aristocracy were expected to be transactional until very recently.

      • BeanieBean says:

That whole ‘hedge hides the helicopter’ thing never made any sense. You can’t hide a helicopter coming in & going out. Those suckers are loud. Plus, you know, they’re overhead. In the air.

      • Lorelei says:

Yes, but the hedges would make it impossible to have photographic proof of how often he comes and goes and when. All they know is that someone in the family is using the helicopter.

And didn’t we also find out that the “mom’s night out” at a pub that Kate went to a couple of weeks ago with the parents of George and Charlotte’s classmates was for all parents and there were dads there too? But not William. Wouldn’t he want to see all of his lady friends from the gym?

      • notasugarhere says:

Yes, the hedges hide who is using the helicopter. We kept getting photos of them getting on and off the helo when they had no engagements. The transportation budget was changed to hide their travels. Now all helo travel by these two, whether for work on not, is paid by taxpayers.

    • Nic919 says:

He sounds like a divorced father with that comment.

  12. Beach Dreams says:

His comments fly in the face of those spring/summer articles that claimed he regularly picked up and dropped off his kids at school. It also begs the question of what he does on all of those vacations the Cambridges take (including the school breaks of George and Charlotte). Because honestly, he and Kate are always on break for half the year. He has plenty of free time already.

One would almost think he’s leading a life separate from that of his wife and children…

    • notasugarhere says:

The idea of William going to the gym regularly with school mums and not one of them ever spilling the beans? Those articles about fictional trips to the gym came out as a deflection from Rose. See, look, he has plenty of female friends he hangs out with all the time, nothing to see here.

  13. stepup says:

The older I get, the more I realize that people who constantly broadcast their “busy lives” are (almost always) the ones who do the least.

    • Lorelei says:

@Stepup I agree. It’s always either that or the person thrives on the drama of always being overcommitted (I have a friend like that) but we know Bill isn’t the latter.

  14. Digital Unicorn says:

What does he do all day, its not as if his schedule is full work engagements like his father.

People should remember this is the guy who complained about his parents being away all the time doing their duty when he was growing up – he stated he didn’t want to do that to his children. But here we are. This is a father who spent 6 months away from home when his first child was born.

Its pretty obvious that he and Kate lead separate lives.

  15. Sarah says:

The language he uses is so WEIRD. They literally live in your house. This sounds like how I describe a hobby.

  16. SIPNBUBBLY says:

I don’t think Will & Kate live together. He lives in Norfolk while she’s at KP all week with the kids. They see one another for engagements and photo ops. He barely looks at her when they are together. Doubt they sleep in the same bed.

    • MsIam says:

It reminds of Charles and Diana. She lived at KP during the week with the kids while Charles entertained Camilla and his friends at the country home. Diana would come up on the weekends. I hope it’s not history repeating itself….. But I guess a lot of these upper class marriages work this way. As long as no one is embarrassed by anything. I guess everything is fine.

      • Andrea says:

I agree—I think she is with the kids and her family and he is in Norfolk with Rose. Rose’s husband is off in France with his lovers and it all works, except for Kate who wishes it were different, but then again, she knew how he was in they 10 years the dated.
I have a friend with 3 small kids, just like Kate with a philandering husband. She puts up with it because she can be a SAHM and he makes a lot of money. He told her that he does not believe in divorce. LOL I wish my friend would leave him, but she has too cushy a financial situation to do so. I fear he will leave her one day just as I suspect William will leave Kate.

  17. Sofia says:

Seems like he’s trying to garner sympathy. Like “I’m so /busy/ with my royal /duties/ I don’t even have time to see my own kids! Look how hard I work!”

But we all know none of these royals are working 40-45 hours a week. William works what? 20? 25 hours at most. That’s plenty of time to see the kids.

I think Wills lives in Norfolk pretending he’s still single and Kate and the kids live at KP

  18. Mamasan says:

    Douchebag.

  19. Elizabeth R says:

This is the kind of thing you say when you’re used to leading a separate life from your wife & kids, and are arrogant enough to think it won’t get out. Throws Harry’s comment of “we’re on quite different paths at the moment” in his Bradby interview into an interesting light.

  20. Talie says:

That’s the one thing that has always annoyed me about both princes – they always refer to “a job” like they work a 9-5 in a cubicle. Eventually, they are going to talk to the public right out of funding them. If the economy ever collapsed again, one can see that happening actually.

    • Guest says:

Harry is definitely not perfect but I’ll never forget when we saw pics of him and Meghan at the polo match. She had archie with her and harry was putting the things in their car. They looked like a normal family would getting ready to go home. Have we ever seen William doing that? Helping kate put the babies things in their car?

      • Some chick says:

It’s pretty clear that both Harry and William pretty much do what they want to do, along with their “royal duties.”

What’s so weird is that the BRF doesn’t just let Harry and Meghan do their thing. They’re clearly cut out for it. Is it really that important that they “stand in the back” with their charity projects, too? The BRF will eat itself.

    • A says:

How would the public prefer that they talk about their work? I’m asking sincerely. They’ve been met with a lot of justified criticism for referring to it as a regular job, but I can’t think of any other way they’d be able to talk about it without coming off as flippant or bragging.

  21. Harla says:

Per Gert’s Royals, as of November 6th William attended 147 engagements.

    • notasugarhere says:

He had around 220 last year, likely his highest total ever. Tending Rose bushes in his spare time this year? (nods to BayTampaBay)

    • Devon says:

And that is with the padding that Kate and William get on their counts. Their private meetings count while the Sussexes don’t.

    • Sid says:

And that is spread out over at least 300 days to date since we are in November already. That is not even one engagement per day this year. So he has had all that free time yet still doesn’t see his kids enough?

  22. Mignionette says:

The whitewashing of the ‘Rose and Crown’ affair.

Prey tell William how difficult is it to see your kids, when you’re busy stuffing other married men’s Beards?

  23. lucy2 says:

Considering most people have to work a LOT more than him and still manage to be good parents, his comments sound weird and incredibly out of touch.

  24. Lorelei says:

Did I misread this headline? Because today is not April 1st and this surely must be a joke.

  25. Annabel says:

These are very strange comments for all the reasons everyone else has mentioned, but speaking of strangeness, why is Kate wearing three Remembrance Day poppies? Is she trying to recreate the entire Flanders poppy field on her dress? I’ve never seen anyone wear more than one and am wondering if there’s some symbolism here that I’m missing.

  26. MellyMel says:

Does he not live at home with them? I don’t understand.

  27. Marie says:

Weird comment. I definitely think they don’t live together.

  28. Sassy says:

Does he live in the same house as his kids? Strange comments to make.

  29. Silas says:

Maybe Kate kicked him out because of Rose.

But also maybe William is one of those people who unnecessarily over-schedule themselves (for William, it would be fun activities like house parties) and then complain about not having free time.

Or he’s just making terrible small talk and has a template: So busy with blank, any free time is spent doing blank.

  30. Cerys says:

I would love to know what is keeping him so busy! It’s certainly not royal duties.

  31. Cosmo says:

Now the British tabloids can say how wonderful a father he is by making time for his kids…lol It sounds like being with his kids is the last thing he wants to do. He’s just so busy. Ya right.

  32. Andrea says:

Maybe William is living in Norfolk and still with Rose? Kate turns a blind eye because of the children?

  33. Loopy says:

I signed up just to make this comment: The whole helicopter thing was a bit of a sham? I had no idea. And here I was , all this time, thinking that was the only real cool thing about William. What a disappointment he turned out to be. I am 100% Team Harry!

  34. Mtec says:

He doesn’t have time for his children but he can make time for 3 intimate dinners with Rose? Hmmm… 🤔

Also, if the “future king” doesn’t have the power to MAKE time for his kids then who does!?

On a general note, it’s incredibly frustrating that we still expect women to make time and sacrifice their time for their kids—it’s the standard. But men like William can approach parenting so passively. Only having time for his kids like one would with a Tinder date that they’re still debating if they’re gonna ghost or take on another date.

I always believed this when it comes to dating—if someone likes you, they will make time for the you, not just try and fit you in when they’re bored or when they have free time, whenever that is.—I’m thinking same goes for parents… specially those on a part-time sched and with extra help like the royals have.

  35. February Pisces says:

That comment makes him sound like a dad that doesn’t live with his kids but sees them a regularly as he can. If he did his royal engagements wouldn’t he go straight home and see his kids when they are home from school, like most parents. I think he’s just trying to sound like he’s ‘hard working’, lol. Im pretty sure the Cambridge house hold is split in two.

  36. Ann says:

Diana had issues, but one thing we all knew was that she was absolutely ga ga about her children when they were growing up. That gene did not pass to William. I don’t think he knows how to truly love people, he only asks what’s in it for him (ego boost, etc)

  37. Lea says:

I don’t think Kate is as hands-on as she claims to be. They have a staff of nannies who are there 24/7. I think both Kate and William are like the Banks parents in the Mary Poppins movie (the original one).

  38. BriannaP says:

At this point LOL…William really believes he works so hard that he has very little free time which means he really doesn’t spend time with his children….so what the HELL is William up to all day everyday. He only works like 4 hours a month.

  39. Andrea says:

He needs his sleep guys! LOL

  40. Marie says:

@Ann I totally agree. I don’t think William has ever said he wants kids. At all. Harry has been talking about wanting kids forever.

Also, the Cambridge’s have like 3 nannies. I don’t either of them are that hands on. They seem to hide behind their kids.

  41. Aidevee says:

Any spare time he gets, he sleeps?! God that’s so weird. It makes me cringe the way he tries to act all normal and down to Earth.

    • A says:

I dunno, I actually found that bit relatable. I still remember growing up and being shushed by my mom in the afternoons because my dad was off taking a nap after lunch, lol. Maybe that’s just my experience.

      • notasugarhere says:

Did your parents have three nannies, two housekeepers, cooks, groundskeepers, and a couple dozen office staff running their home and work schedules, A?

  42. TheOriginalMia says:

PR genius William probably thinks this makes him seem like a regular working father, who barely gets a chance to see his kids before bedtime, when this is the furthest from the truth. It makes him seem like a father who doesn’t live with his family and sees his kids occasionally.

  43. yinyang says:

That’s a bold face lie. He’s practically a stay-at-home dad. He should meet dads who work in the real world than he won’t complain.

  44. Carolind says:

I don’t have much time for William and Kate but I think some of the comments are in fantasy land. Did any of you actually see Louis, the Cambridge baby, absolutely desperate to get to William at the last Trooping the Colour? That wasn’t the actions of a baby who hardly sees his dad; a baby who it is also said is a mummy’s boy. They are meant to share the school run. He is said to be more chatty than she is and he often turns up at school events, unannounced in casual clothes and his specs. He doesn’t know he is living he is so privileged and it will not be happy families all the way but I do think they lead a regular family life and, because their kids go to school there each day I do think this is mainly in London.

William made these weird comments himself and since he doesn’t actually work full time it does create speculation about why he wouldn’t have much free time to see his kids. No one is saying he never sees his kids, but he made comments similar to what a divorced dad who doesn’t live at home says. And kids with parents who don’t live together still recognize their parents and attend school functions. Nothing of what you stated above would disprove that they could be living separate lives in private.

      Oh no, common sense.

    • It’s a given fact at this point of the gossip stage that they live separate lives. By next week it will be irrefutable and (like their innermost thoughts, ambitions and motivations) will be “known.”

I agree. I think Kate does the bulk of the child rearing. William is probably more keen on having fun with them, but Kate definitely looks after the day to day drudgery of co-ordinating their nannies, getting them ready for school/bed, making sure they’re being shuffled to their appointments, etc. I dunno what William does with the rest of his time.

I don’t doubt William’s commitment to being a good parent, in his own way. There are plenty of decent fathers who are simultaneously sh-tty husbands, so there’s no reason why William doesn’t fall into the same category. I imagine that him and Kate do work very hard to keep a good front up for their children for the time being, and if it came down to it, he’d probably figure out how to hide his antics even better if he had to. And I think he’s committed to providing a stable, happy childhood for all of his children. But I certainly don’t think that he’s jumping to do the boring, ugly parts of child rearing, like wiping noses and getting up when they’re not sleeping through the night. He’s much more content leaving that stuff to the women and the nannies.

  46. At least he works more than his lazy brother and of course he is a hands on dad all you have to do is watch him with his children to see it but you don’t want to because he is the big bad monster brother in your eyes 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

According to Gert’s Royals, for 2019 William has 152 engagements. Harry has 148. (Both so far) Practically neck in neck. In 2018 W: 213 H: 192. As William is the heir to the heir, he should be doing more. Neither of them, even when added together, match their father.

      • Kj says:

The heir doing more or should be doing more is not true. Charles is the heir yet Anne, who is way back in the succession, works just as much as he does. Sometimes she works even MORE than Charles. So yes, It is inexcusable that Harry works even less numbers than William. They are both lazy and lazier for not having higher numbers by now.

I’ve just got less and less time for these people. I rarely click on stories about them anymore, tbh. The only ones who seem like genuine, decent human beings who care about the world and aren’t complete douchebags are Harry and Meghan. I totally understand if those two wanted to break away from these jerks.
I do think that sooner or later the British will ditch their monarchs, perhaps after the Queen’s death, and frankly, I wouldn’t shed a tear. They just seem to be there to provide embarassing public spectacles and unmerited expense to the nation, although the occasional marriage does at least provide the world a short-lived, enjoyable distraction. The Queen’s hiding money offshore revealed by the Panama Papers and the entire clusterf* of the covering up of disgusting Andrew’s disgustingness- like actual criminal behavior (fine, “potential,” re: Andrew’s pedophilia… but come on, there are photos and witnesses to his years of chillaxing with that jaw-droppingly sick, exploitative monster) – just shows them to be wrongfully privileged & wrongfully protected. William & Kate’s clear lazy moochiness just adds a more superficial veneer of disgustingness to the deeper down more criminal forms of disgustingness.
    Run, Harry and Meghan!
