UNBELIEVABLE!!!!   My house had been on the market previously with two different national estate agents for a total of two years at £165,000. (more info)off the market before Christmas last year.   I decided to have another go and contacted three agents to come along and value my house and discuss their services and terms. The first one said he would put my house on the market for £160,000 and guarantee a sale within 8 weeks.  The second said he would market the property at £170,000 and hope to get a sale for around £165,000.   Then Penny from Kerb Appealz came along and said she thought the property was worth at least £170,000 and was confident she could get me that price for a very competitive fee of 0.8% commission (+ VAT).  She explained how she photographs and markets properties and the totally different service she offers.   I decided to give Kerb Appealz a try as I had little faith in the local estate agents and their traditional methods.   Penny arrived at my house on Friday morning and spent hours taking photos and showing my house at its best.  The photos were loaded onto Rightmove and Zoopla the next day and within minutes Penny had a call from a lady wanting to view the house the next morning, she had a mortgage offer in place and was ready to move.  The lady loved my house and put an offer in for the asking price there and then.   This all happened over the bank holiday weekend when other agents are closed and un- contactable.  By Tuesday the solicitors had been instructed.  Phone calls are still coming in for viewings.
