Entrepreneurs can rent space in a conventional co-working area on the ground floor of the office tower, or rent one of 22 private office suites on the fourth floor.

Austin entrepreneurs will soon have another downtown co-working space available to them.

New York-based TechSpace Holding Co. is planning to open its doors at 98 San Jacinto Blvd. in March, slightly later than its initially projected opening in January. The delay was caused by design changes and lease negotiations, CEO Victor Memenas said Wednesday.

The new facility is being built in the San Jacinto Center next to the Four Seasons hotel off Cesar Chavez Street.

TechSpace is constructing a conventional 90-seat co-working space in over 8,000 square feet on the ground floor, plus 22 private office suites covering the entire 20,000 square feet of the fourth floor. Co-working spaces cost $375 per month, and the cost of suites depend on their size and other needs, Site Manager Mallory Beck said.

TechSpace, which was founded in 1997, also operates in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Orange County, California.

There are multiple co-working spaces in downtown Austin, including the Capital Factory and WeWork Companies Inc., both of which have recently expanded their locations. Denver-based coding school and co-working space operator Galvanize Inc. plans to open offices in a new tower being built in offices in the trendy Seaholm project.
