Thee fourth annual ugly sweater run/walk is about to hit the streets along the lakeshore on November 11th.  Chelly Boutott met with Stacy Rutherford, President of the Autism Society of the Lakeshore and Andrew Nichols to discuss this unique event.

The goal of the project is to take a new twist on an old way to raise funds for Autism.

Participants choose between the 5K or the 10K, and many design their own ugly sweaters for eth event.

There’s even a prize for “ugliest” sweater.

You can sign up online at runsignup.com; just type in “ugly sweater run” or pre-registration pick up.  Registration will be at the Baymont Inn on Friday November 10th from 5-8 pm and the day of the event from 6:30-8am.
