Brexit - to panic or not to panic? |
|
As the politicians take their time to decide what the decision to ‘Brexit’ actually means, we offer a few thoughts from others. Organisations such as Creative England and Arts Council are unable to lead with opinion given their relationship with government, so we present a brief snapshot of what’s being said in the creative industries.
The Creative Industries Federation is taking the decision very seriously and is planning a series of events across the country designed to canvas views
Online magazine Fast CoDesign provides some decent appraisal, identifying potential negative impact across the design world.
Predictably, a host of sources have come forward to talk about the impact on the UK Film Industry, with the most immediate/irreverent from Den of Geek.
Geoff Taylor at the BPI can see good and bad stuff looming for the music industry.
Online research magazine iQ can see lots of possible problems particularly around visas and basically more paperwork for European touring.
So as the fog clears, be great to hear back from you as the impact on your business becomes clear. (JB) |

They have chosen Alchemy as a theme to unite their practices: a form of chemistry and speculative philosophy practiced in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and concerned with discovering methods for transmuting baser metals into gold and finding a universal solvent and ‘elixir of life’.
