With Q3 well underway, organizations are in a position of mid-year clarity, with retrospective wins and challenges informing ongoing strategy. Four local companies are celebrating growth with a new round of hiring, as initiatives take off and room for new talent opens.

If you’re looking for a new role with an energized team making waves in their industry, these four LA companies want to meet you.

What they do: Who doesn’t love a seamless mobile shopping experience? Enabling the “wherever, whenever” mentality of modern buying, Tapcart is the force behind many brands’ mobile e-commerce apps, such as Fashion Nova and Chubbies.

Where they’re located: Need a break from sweltering inland summer temperatures? Tapcart’s team works out of Santa Monica, just a 10-minute walk to the beach — the perfect balance of sunshine and sea breeze.

Tapping into revenue: In a case study, Tapcart found that one of their clients, Diesel Power Gear, brought in more than $1.3 million in revenue in a single month by launching their ecommerce app through Tapcart’s platform. Improvements weren’t just in sales, either — Diesel also saw a significant reduction in marketing spend by using Tapcart’s SMS push notifications.

What they do: With a wide portfolio of solutions for marketers and researchers, Prodege is turning consumer data into insightful campaigns, visualizations and guidance for holistic brand growth.

Evolving alongside employees: Prodege understands the importance of employee feedback in designing relevant and supportive organizational improvements. Among their tools are company-wide surveys to gauge team engagement and satisfaction, as well as monthly anniversary lunches where each cohort of new hires can share positive feedback as well as suggestions for improvement.

Globetrotters: When it comes to events, Prodege is keeping busy — their calendar has a long lineup of summits across the U.S., even one in London!

What they do: As the digital backbone behind the Automobile Club of Southern California (most commonly known as AAA), ClubLabs is providing AAA members with intuitive customer experiences across insurance, travel and emergency roadside assistance.

Modern architects, historic architecture: ClubLabs is located in the Automobile Club of Southern California’s 1921 headquarters. Constructed in Spanish Colonial Revival style, the building has been designated a historic-cultural monument by the city of Los Angeles; gentle renovation touches include standing desks, a game room and a user research lab.

Join the Club: In Vice President of eBiz Erik Robinson’s words, success at ClubLabs takes “creativity, humility, tenacity...and a mean ping-pong game.”

What they do: Altruist is pairing licensed, independent financial advisors with a commission-free platform that automates manual work and streamlines operations, providing them more time to focus on their clientele.

Fashionable locale: Known by Angelenos as one of the most trend-literate strips in Los Angeles, Abbot Kinney is a mile-long stretch of boutiques, cafes, bars and restaurants — and the home of Altruist’s office.

Fintech, funded: Recent developments include raising $50 million in Series B funding, paving the way for new initiatives and platform evolution. To support upcoming growth, they’re hiring across all departments.
