The schedule includes sessions delivered by Great Ormond Street cardiac specialist educators

  • A and P of the normal heart -review
  • Normal ECG and top tips for ECGs in paediatric patients
  • Recognising and assessing the Cardiac child
  • Care of the Cardiac child in your Ward
  • For Paediatricians we’ve added sessions on management of hyper cyanotic spells (TOF spells) and a session on anaesthetic considerations in cardiac children, from Consultant Cardiac Anaesthetist, Dr Lucy Hepburn

We end with a very exciting addition to the day from a dynamic young woman who was born with Tetralogy of Fallot. Faiza will tell her story, from cardiac infant to yoga teacher.
