For the first time in 66 years, a Michigan native has been elected to Cooperstown. It was announced Tuesday, baseball writers have voted former Tigers pitching prospect John Smoltz into the Hall of Fame. The graduate of Lansing Waverly, Smoltz will be inducted in Cooperstown on July 26, 2015.*
