Cool and Easy Kids Forts

Posted on April 17, 2017

I remember as a kid all I wanted was a playhouse and a my-size electric barbie car. I was obsessed with decorating things and the idea of driving a car. I ended up taking a huge cardboard box left over from something my parents had bought and I turned it into my little sanctuary. I drew windows on the outside, got my mom to cut out a door, I found another box to make a roof, I had some pretty hot digs for an eight-year-old. I never got a car, so hot wheels would have to suffice until I turned 16, but I was happy with my house.

After pinteresting for a bit I came across a beautiful make-shift kids fort that I would have killed for in my elementary years. So I have put together some ideas for building your child a creative and memorable fort. You can do this together or surprise them with it, either way, I promise you they will never forget it.
