MOBILE, Alabama -- Sunday night's GoDaddy Bowl featured a little bit of everything -- 1,009 combined yards, three defensive touchdowns and a record-tying performance by Toledo's Kareem Hunt.

It also had an unusual call by the referees -- a player ejected for "threatening an official."

Early in the fourth quarter, with Arkansas State trailing 42-31 and Toledo driving, Red Wolves linebacker Xavier Woodson said something to a referee after a play and was immediately ejected.

Kareem Hunt scored the last of his NCAA bowl record-tying five rushing touchdowns a play later.

Asked about the ejection after the game, Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson would not reveal what the officials told him about what Woodson said.

"I'm not commenting on it," Anderson said. "It was the heat of the battle, and if he deserved to be kicked out, he deserved to be kicked out.

"It was chippy at that point. I think at that point, they decided to draw a line. The official made a call. It's a judgment call on his part. If we've got a guy who steps out of line, he deserves to be sent off. There's nothing on video, I don't have any proof of it, but they're the guys out there calling the game. If they felt like he was out of line, he was out of line."
