HAWK recently released their eponymous EP and the track “The Hunt” acts as the perfect calling card for the London 4-piece.
The track teases the listener with a distant folky intro before drummer Sam Campbell adds some urgency to the mix with his grand entry. From that point on the track is all lush guitar melodies and gentle arpeggios that act as the perfect vehicle for frontwoman Julie Hawk‘s stirring vocals to shine.
With a soaring chorus that has evocative written all over it “The Hunt” is a truly beautiful song from a band that are growing into something rather special right in front of our eyes.
