Game Notes
  • UH concludes its four-game homestand when it hosts UC Santa Barbara. The game is part of a double-header with the women who face Cal Poly at 5:30 p.m.
  • The Rainbow Warriors are coming off a 17-point victory over Long Beach State on Thursday and have won their last two games by an average of 18.5 ppg.  
  • The 'Bows and Gauchos are currently tied for third in the Big West standings and the winner of Saturday's game will move into a tie for second with Cal State Fullerton.
  • UH is 11-3 at home this year, while UCSB enters the game 4-4 in true road games.
  • Four players are averaging double-digit scoring for UH in Big West play, led by Jack Purchase at 13.7 ppg. Purchase also leads UH with 6.5 rpg in league contests. 
  • Federal employees who were furloughed receive free admission to the game.
  • After facing UCSB, UH plays road games at Long Beach State (Feb. 7) and UC Irvine (Feb. 9).
