PEF: Cuomo Administration looking to pull 2,500, not 1,000 members

I had a story the other day about the Cuomo Administration’s move to pull 1,000 state workers out of the Public Employees Federation union and reclassify them as non-union management/confidential workers.

At the time I noted that it has sent ‘shock waves’ through the workforce, well know it looks like PEF employees will be confronting a tidal wave.

In the letter below, PEF President Susan Kent notes that upon further calculation, they find that the state is actually looking to pull 2,500 members, rather than 1,000 from the union.
