It's official: Minnesota vs. Missouri in Citrus Bowl on Jan. 1st

After watching Mizzou a little in the SEC championship game, I think this is an SEC offense that we could actually contain and keep it somewhat low scoring. Their D-Line is legit though.

Their D is very legit. My buddy went to school at Missouri. Said basically what you just said above. Really likes their defense. Doesn't really like their QB play. Sound familiar?! ;)

Correction: The Gophers are in the Citrus Bowl Jan. 1, but not sure on Missouri yet.

According to Brett McMurphy Citrus Bowl will be Missouri vs BIG Ten TBD. But write as I write this my twitter feed is saying its confirmed to be us. Any ways I can't wait for this. This will be very fun.
 

SWEET! Would have preferred to play a different SEC team......but playing in the Citrus Bowl is nothing to complain about!

This is a great matchup. We'll probably hold them to around 20 points. The question will be if we can score.

I already know it is us, but that Brett McMurphy guy is a turd. Been underestimating the Gophers and their bowl destination possibilities all season long. That is all. :p

The area around the Citrus Bowl is really nasty.
 


Funny that we find ourselves playing a New Years Day Bowl game at the same time as MSU and Wisconsin. However.....being on ABC is probably gives us the most exposure of the three. Love it.

Couldn't remember which game aired on which station. If it's on ABC as well...icing on the cake!!
