A bride was mortified to discover her fiance had organised for them to tie the knot in bumper cars.

Loz Hollins, 36, from Staffordshire, had said he 'really wanted to impress' his future wife Kloe, 25, with his  'fun' plan for their wedding day.

But the mother-of-one was shocked and upset when she found out he had arranged a funfair for their big day, with the dodgems taking centre stage in the car park he had hired for their venue.

Kloe threatened not to go head with the wedding when she heard Loz intended for her to drive herself up the aisle in a car decorated with a 'here comes the bride' banner.

'I don't want to do this. Why has it done this? What the f***?' she sobbed when she saw Loz's plan on the new Sky 1 series of Don't Tell The Bride.

Kloe, who wanted her beloved grandfather to give her away, cried: 'I'm not doing it, I am not getting in that car, I want to walk down the aisle!'

Loz had been allowed to take charge of every element of their wedding as they appeared on the show where couples are given £15,000 towards their nuptials if the groom plans the wedding alone in three weeks.

Kloe had admitted her dream wedding would be on a beach in Mallorca and she was scared Loz would 'turn our wedding into a joke'.

Her fears were realised when she saw she had her very own bumper car waiting for her at their ceremony, which she would have to drive to sit beside Loz waiting at 'the alter' in his own car.

Loz had organised for their immediate family to also be seated in bumper cars for the ceremony while the other guests would stand and watch from the outside.

One said it was particularly awkward to look on as Loz stood wondering if his marriage was going to go ahead as Kloe refused to ride in a bumper car to join him to take their vows.

'He's gone for something stupid. It's the bumper cars!' she sobbed as her mother and bridesmaids consoled her.

Earlier she had compromised by wearing the dress he had chosen even though it wasn't to her taste.

She had wanted a Grecian style floaty gown that was 'simple and elegant' but Loz picked out a £1,500 strapless, tight-fitting dress with a frilly fishtail skirt.

Kloe cried when she saw it admitting 'it is not what I would have chosen' but she agreed to wear it as 'Loz wants this so that makes it special.'

Little did she know that Loz had actually made the decision based on the toss of a coin.

There was more romantic thought behind his fun fair themed wedding though.

He said he wanted it because it was at a fair one Bonfire Night that he 'had an epiphany' and realised he wanted to marry Kloe, with whom he has a seven-month-old daughter Orla.

'It was at the fair that I realised I loved her so why not recreate that night?' he said.
