Torino head coach Giampiero Ventura has been handed a one match ban following an intimidating gesture he made towards a fan after their last gasp defeat against Juventus.
Ventura had just witnessed his side fall to defeat with the last kick of the game and Ventura admitted after the game he lost his mind with a fan and that Granata fans need to show more respect for their players.
The Lega Serie A decided that Ventura’s action of “turning towards a fan from the technical area with a threatening expression and intimidating gestures” were worthy of a one match touchline ban.
As a result of the ban, Ventura will miss the Granata’s next Serie A game against a resurgent Palermo side who are currently on a five match unbeaten run.
