CELEBRATE Literacy Month!!

Dear Parents and Providers,

The Staff at CFCE would like to invite you once again to participate in our annual Literacy Month Project. As you may know, the Governor issues a proclamation each fall designating November as Literacy Month and urges caring adults to spend time reading to children. The staff at Self Help Inc./CFCE has sponsored this project by offering literacy based activities and resources for parents to do at home and providers to use in their programs. An email outlining this project will be sent out on October 30, 2018 to all of the parents on our database and we encourage providers to forward this email (or provide copies) to parents in your care.

This year we are focusing our projects based around the book……..

In addition, we have contacted area legislators to inquire if they would be available to read to a group of children at a library, provider site or community site.

Representative William Galvin is scheduled to read at the Canton Public Library on November 7th at 10:30 am. ALL Welcome!

We hope you enjoy this project! If you have any questions please contact me at mdavidson@selfhelpinc.org or (508) 559-1666 x1810
