The best article I have read on the argument for prep sink in an island. In my new kitchen I am keeping two sinks but will move more prep storage to the island now !!

Extremely helpful article! I thought my kitchen island should be a focal point, but why not a more functional kitchen with a prep sink! Thanks!!

I can't overstate your article's value; thank you so much! Haha, I don't know how much hassle you saved me from figuring out myself some of these brilliantly put recommendations and examples.

You helped me to nail down a couple of things. Of course firstly, the question, "what exact value would a second sink bring?" I was hooked on that idea and had a rough idea of why one would need a second sink, but now I am fully sold if not even an advocate already :) Next to that, I can now make a clear stance on whether I should have a sink or stove on the island. After reading your article, for me, it became clearly the prep sink. As I totally spend most of the time prepping and washing veggies, and not by looking at some pans and pots boiling :) Also, this is so much more inviting for my kids, to join me in the prep work, while sitting at the island.
