Matt Womack, a three-star offensive lineman from Mississippi, flipped from LSU to Alabama on Sunday.

Womack signed a financial aid agreement with LSU earlier this year, but took multiple visits to Alabama and hosted Alabama coaches for an in-home visit last week. He officially visited Tuscaloosa this weekend.

The 6-foot-6, 318-pound offensive tackle from Magnolia Heights was also considering Ole Miss. Womack was originally planning on graduating high school early, but is now expected to be a regular enrollee.

What does Alabama like about Womack?

"Saban said his first step was very fast for a kid his size," David Womack, Matt's father, told AL.com in September. "Also, they said he was so quick the defensive coaches wanted him. So, (they like) his size, speed and toughness. He ran a 5.05 (in the 40-yard dash) this summer."
