Mahama has commissioned 10 schools, not five - #iChooseJM tells Akufo-Addo
The youth movement calling itself #iChooseJM, which is working for the re-election of President John Dramani Mahama, has disagreed with claims by the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo that the number of new Senior High Community Day Schools commissioned by the President is only five.

The movement says Nana Addo is not being truthful by claiming only five of the schools have been completed and that he needs to update his records.
“For the information of Nana Akufo-Addo and to cure the deliberate amnesia that the NPP Flagbearer has developed, #iChooseJM wishes to state for the records that President John Mahama has so far commissioned ten (10) of such schools, and not five as Nana Akufo-Addo erroneously want Ghanaians to believe,” the movement said in a statement issued Thursday.

We have realized with much disappointment, an attempt by the Flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo, to deceive Ghanaians that President John Dramani Mahama has commissioned only five of the four storey E-Shaped Senior High Community Day Schools being constructed by the government.
Nana Akufo-Addo told such bold lies to hundreds of his supporters first at Kwabenya, in Accra, last week Wednesday at a rally organised to launch the NPP campaign in the constituency, and sadly for us, repeated same at Adugyaman in the Brong Ahafo region, this Tuesday.
For the information of Nana Akufo-Addo and to cure the deliberate amnesia that the NPP Flagbearer has developed, #iChooseJM wishes to state for the records that President John Mahama has so far commissioned ten (10) of such schools, and not five as Nana Akufo-Addo erroneously want Ghanaians to believe.
President John Dramani Mahama was in the Central Region, precisely on the 18th day of September, 2015 to inaugurate the Atta Mills Community Day Senior High School at Ekumfi Otuam, the first of its kind.
Following that the President inaugurated the Gwiraman Community Senior High School at Bamianko in the Nzema East District in the Western Region.
His Excellency commissioned the Kwaobaah-Nyanoa Community Day Senior High School (SHS) in the Upper West Akim District of the Eastern region on Thursday, February 4, 2016.
President Mahama on 21st April, 2016 inaugurated two of such four storey E-shaped schools at Nkwanta and Chindere, both in the Volta Region.
On Wednesday April 27, 2016, the President, John Mahama, in continuing his Accounting to the People tour in the Brong Ahafo Region inaugurated the Abeaseman Community Senior High School.
The Adobewura Community Day Senior High School (SHS) in the Atwima-Mponua District, has also been commissioned by the President.
The Adugyaman Community from where the NPP Flagbearer on Tuesday said only five of the Senior High Day Schools have been commissioned, is a proud recipient of one of those schools. The President was once again in Abease, also in the same Brong Ahafo Region to inaugurate one other E-shaped Senior High Day School.
We wonder where Nana Akufo-Addo was, when it was announced ahead of the Accounting to the People Tour of the Upper West Region, that indeed the Community Senior High Day School constructed at Lambussie in the Upper West Region is ready for commissioning by the President.
By providing such details to the office of the NPP flagbearer, we hope that they will update their records, with the expectation that Nana Akufo-Addo will not repeat the falsehood.
In spite of the falsehood that Nana Akufo-Addo is telling his supporters, we are comforted that the NPP Flagbearer is admitting to the fact that President John Mahama is working to improve the educational infrastructure in the country and bringing relief to students and their parents. It is good to know that Nana Akufo-Addo is now seeing some of the transformational changes that President John Mahama is bringing to Ghanaians. We welcome him therefore to an era of campaigning on issues and a departure from his campaign of insults and attacks on the person of the President.
