Hello Friend of DeakinPrime

It has been an extremely rewarding finish to the year, with three of our projects being recognised for excellence. We are very proud of Westpac winning the National Training Award for Best Employer for the Best Banker program delivered by DeakinPrime. This is a significant and ambitious national program which embraces Westpac’s commitment to the professionalisation of its workforce and we are privileged to be a strategic partner in this innovative and ongoing journey.

We were also very excited when our MOOC project took out the Higher Education category of the eLearning Industry Excellence Awards. This project involved trialling significant innovation, was also recognised as one of the top 99 global learning resources, and is an outstanding showcase of content and platform being integrated to provide a rich learning experience.

Finally our blended on-boarding and induction program with Medibank was recognised as a finalist in the Enterprise category at the eLearning Industry Excellence awards. This project incorporates our best practice approach to the design of blended learning and included a remark from one of the judges: “great to actually see a genuine 70:20:10 approach”. Thank you to Westpac, Medibank and our Deakin University colleagues for the opportunity to work together on these amazing projects.

Thank you to all of our clients who recently completed our client experience survey. We achieved a very pleasing four-fold increase in our Net Promoter Score and a significant positive shift in DeakinPrime being valued as a strategic partner who contributed to our clients’ success. High-quality client service remains a priority in 2015 and we appreciate the identification of opportunities to continue to improve this aspect of our engagement with clients.

We have also had a big program of events at DeakinPrime this year, which concluded with a passionate presentation from David Parkin on high-performance teams. This edition has a short overview from Pete Jensen’s well-received presentation on psychologically safe workplaces. We look forward to bringing you another big line up of events in 2015.

On behalf of everyone at DeakinPrime, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients, consultants and partners for their effort and contribution to our success in 2014. I wish you all the best for a fantastic Christmas, a well-earned break, and we all look forward to continuing to work with you in 2015.

Best regards

Simon Hann
CEO, DeakinPrime
