In Events, Making a Difference

tenant-event-collageHere at M’akola our tenants are our No. 1 priority and we recognize all of the family members we serve are the vital to the success of M’akola Housing Society.

This spring and summer we have travelled the province engaging with our tenants and celebrating them at a variety of activities. We’ve had more than 1,500 tenants attend more than 30 events across the province since May.

This month we have more tenant gatherings planned including a partnership with West Shore Arts Council. We will co-host a Family Art Studio project with West Shore artists leading classes at our Station Avenue site. The projects will include a family painting project on canvas and an Aboriginal artist teaching a mask workshop.

M’akola is also a proud sponsor of two family swims this month in Langford and Duncan.
