The past year was another successful one for ACHPER (SA) through a range of professional activities each of which were designed to support our members to promote active and healthy living. ACHPER (SA) continued to operate efficiently in a challenging and dynamic environment. The last year featured the successful hosting of a range of professional learning activities, ongoing active programs, and many new projects ensuring a rewarding and efficient 12 months.
The ACHPER (SA) Staff and Board would like to wish ACHPER members, partners and supporters of ACHPER all the best for the festive season. We hope you have a well-deserved break, and enjoy time with friends and family. We look forward to your
support in 2015.

29th ACHPER International Conference

Registration is open for the 29th ACHPER International Conference. This Conference will be combined with the annual April Conference, and we are excited to be able to present a broader, more diverse and larger event for our local South Australians. This will be a great opportunity to hear from interstate, overseas presenters, as well as showcase our local expertise and passion. Sports Vouchers is a State Government initiative administered by the Office for Recreation and Sport (ORS). The program is an opportunity for primary school age children from Reception to Year 7 to receive a $50 discount from sports club/membership fees. All children in South Australia will receive a letter from the Premier at school (or home if home-schooled) informing them of Sports Vouchers and how it works. The purpose is to increase the numbers of children playing organised sport and to reduce the costs for parents. Click here for more information.

ACHPER (SA) Secondary Conference
Thanks to the 25 presenters, 105 delegates and supporters of the successful ACHPER (SA) Secondary Conference held on 1-2 December at ASMS / Flinders University. Well done and thanks to all involved! The conference featured 100% satisfaction from delegates and many positive comments were received. This conference concluded a busy and successful year of ACHPER (SA) professional activities.

ACHPER (SA) has a limited quantity of t-shirts, developed by ACHPER supporter IDM Sports. Each shirt will feature the ACHPER (SA) logo, and the picture* outlines the shirt we will order.
