COVID Response Toolkit
The Public Education Department released an updated Covid-19 Response Toolkit (updated August 24) to guide schools in the 2022-23 school year. Changes since the last version (dated July 22) include:
• Significant reduction in list of questions reported weekly through the NMDOH Provider Portal
• Quarantine definition updated
• Surveillance testing is no longer required but optional
• Close contacts should wear a well-fitting mask for 10 days and be tested at day five following exposure.

Tests can be conveniently administered at home with results in 15 minutes.
Positive home-based test results should be reported on the State’s Self-Reporting Webform.
US GOVERNMENT - Free At-Home Rapid COVID-19 tests
Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order a third round of free at-home COVID-19 tests from the U.S. Government. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days. Order tests now so you have them when you need them. Visit https://www.covidtests.gov/ or call 1-800-232-0233 (TTY 1-888-720-7489).

VAULT: AT HOME SALIVA COVID-19 TESTING
NMDOH and Vault Medical Services have teamed up to offer at-home COVID-19 saliva testing for any person who believes they need to be tested, with or without symptoms, at no cost. 1) Order the test from Vault, 2) Log on for a virtual visit with a Vault test supervisor who will show you how to collect your saliva sample, 3) Ship the sample to the lab using a prepaid UPS package, 4) Results provided within 24 to 48 hours after the sample arrives at the lab.
