A Slow Climb For Maryland Wages

Christopher Connelly

Even as the economy digs its way out of the Great Recession, there’s one measure that hasn’t improved much in Maryland of late: wage growth. With us to talk about it is DaraiusIrani, Chief Economist at the Regional Economic Studies Institute of Towson University.

Irani painted a dour picture for the Maryland economy in his 2015 Economic Outlook Conference this week. Want to read more about stagnant wage growth? The New York Times' David Leonhardt wrote about it just last month.

Sheilah Kast is the host of On The Record, Monday-Friday, 9:30-10:00 am.
