FUTURE Campus-Side Chats: Science Writing & Public Relations

The FUTURE program, a NIH-funded career exploration program for Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars in the biomedical sciences*, invites you to “Campus-Side Chats”, a monthly speaker series and meetup with Ph.D. professionals in non-academic/non-professoriate science careers held at Hot Italian (Davis). This is a great opportunity for students and postdocs to find out about internship/career opportunities, network, and learn about alternative career paths. (*Biomedical sciences is defined broadly as any research that is related to the advancement of health.)

Our next chat will be on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 3:00 pm in Hot Italian (500 1st St, Davis, CA). Our featured guest(s) is Dr. Andy Fell, who will be talking about their career in Science Writing and Public Relations!

Light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Space for each meetup is limited so we strongly recommend that postdocs and grad students RSVP.

Priority will be given to students and postdocs registered in the FUTURE program, however, all are welcome!
