Valentine's Day is TWO WEEKS away, and if you're planning on picking up a store-bought card to commemorate the day, you need to rethink your strategy. We found the ultimate card to gift on February 14th, and it blows cards, boxes of chocolate, and yeah, even that adorable teddy bear holding a heart out of the water.

First of all, everything is always better when it's homemade, so grabbing that card at the drugstore reads "as little effort as possible." But more importantly, everything is always better when it's food, so we were instantly sold when we saw blogger Liz Bushong turn cherry pies into pastry envelopes. Sorry, but scribbled "I love you's" have nothing on pie filling. Actually, not sorry.

It sounds crazy complicated, but it's actually pretty fool-proof. You take Pillsbury Pie Crust cut into a square, add some cherry pie filling, then fold it up into an envelope shape, sprinkle some sugar on it, and bake it. You can even cut out a heart with the leftover pie crust and place it on the envelope seal to make it even more V-Day worthy.

Be mine. (No, seriously—there's pie involved.)
