Think Your Office Sucks? Here Are the 15 Saddest Desks We Could Find

When we asked our readers to show us their depressing workspaces last month, we weren't sure if we could top the submissions to our "Saddest Cubicle Contest" from 2007. We think it's safe to say we did. Our call for #SadDesk submissions on Twitter yielded some truly pathetic situations, bleak enough to inspire nostalgia for the good ol' cubicle days. If you think your workspace is depressing, this gallery will almost certainly make you feel better.

Among the saddest desks is that of Sister Anne (@nunblogger), whose tiny workstation is made from something resembling particle board, with a cardboard box on top acting as a laptop stand, all stashed in the corner of what looks like it could be a closet (she says she still gets plenty done, though, which appears to be true based on her Nun Blog). And then there's the desk of Keagan Soakell-Ho (@MtEdenCodeLab) consisting of a bread box resting on a clothes drying rack, which is also covered in wet clothes.

Just about everyone has something to complain about when it comes to their workspace, but this collection of disheartening desks should help most of us put things in perspective. But if it doesn't, if you think your desk is even sadder than the saddest ones in this gallery, prove it to us, @wired on Twitter, #SadDesk.
