WESTSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH

NOVEMBER 2014 NEWSLETTER

YOUR GENEROSITY MAKES A DIFFERENCE AS

we approach the end of this calendar year, I want to take a moment to thank all of you who consistently and sacrificially give to the ministry at Westside! By God's grace, and through your generous support, we have seen many lives changed for the Kingdom. Even within the past 2 months, we have seen at least 3 people surrender their lives to Jesus for the first time, 9 who have recommitted their lives to Christ and dozens join a Life Group for the first time. We are seeing God do some amazing things. When you give, you are supporting this kind of incredible life change! Thank you so much!

Each year at Westside we try to tackle a few exciting projects above and beyond our regular budget expenses. This year, we have some exciting opportunities for you to partner with us financially, in order to accomplish some of our ministry goals. We believe that these projects will help us to reach even more people as we continue to follow the path that we believe God has laid out for us. You can donate to any of these items, by using the white offering envelopes or your personal envelopes and indicating the project and amount that you would like to give. These designated funds will be available for donations until they are fully funded. So, would you consider going beyond your normal giving and helping us achieve these goals? We look forward to celebrating hitting our targets soon! Here's a description of the projects that you can give to: - Pastor Dave Stimers

This course leads people through the process of membership and greater commitment at Westside. We hope to create a comprehensive booklet about WBC which new attendees will receive at this course, and be able to take home and study.

541 Eatery & Exchange: This is a new ministry in the heart of Hamilton that feeds many homeless and less fortunate people. At Westside we want to come along side 541 as a local partner and support them both financially and in service. They are currently raising money for a commercial oven that will allow the volunteers to bake bigger batches of food to meet the increased needs of the neighbourhood. Let’s help them meet this need and show them our support! Our goal: $500
