Put your Best Photo First

When you list your home, you want to generate as much interest as possible. We're finding that featuring your home's strongest photo, inside or out, is an effective way to grab buyers' attention. The traditional curbside photo is fine, but it doesn't always tell the strongest story for your home. You might have a stunning kitchen - like our listing in Westmorland. We had photos taken of both the kitchen and the exterior. As you can see, the home is lovely inside and out. In this case, we've featured the kitchen as the first photo in the listing, because buyers will be more excited about this feature.

A home we recently sold in Faircrest is in a similar situation. The home has a gorgeous, modern kitchen. The exterior is very nice and well kept - but doesn't hint at the incredible features inside. We feature the kitchen first, to make sure potential buyers notice its beauty, and consider the possibilities this home has for hosting friends and family.

In each case - the exterior of these homes are lovely - but don't tell the strongest story.

Each home is unique, and offers a distinct set of features and benefits. Work with a listing agent that values creativity, and knows the features that sell homes quickly. They can help you pinpoint your home's most desirable benefits. An agent that works with a professional home stager and photographer can help you create a beautiful, showcase space. Then, this photo can be the first one buyers see on your listing. Once they begin clicking, they'll get a full tour of your property, and calls for showings will begin.

Sometimes you have to think out of the box. Selecting the strongest visual images can improve the selling process, and help you garner the most interest. Let us know if we can help you find the best ways to capture your home.
