CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay’s Governors face the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles Saturday, November 22, and along with a lot of great football action there’s a chance for you to support the Clarksville Salvation Army.
The Clarksville Rotary Club is teaming up with Austin Peay to collect cans of food as well as cash donations for the Salvation Army. If you bring two cans of food to the game you’ll be able to buy a ticket for $5.00. You can also make a donation of cash to receive a $5.00 ticket.
Captain Chris Coulson with the Salvation Army is inviting everyone to come out to the game Saturday and bring two canned goods which will go to help feed those in need in our community over the holidays and throughout the year.
Coulson also thanked Austin Peay and Clarksville Rotary for their support of the Salvation Army which allows the organization to continue their work in Clarksville-Montgomery County.
