The primary colour scheme makes the UX seem almost child-like, so it's difficult to see how this can produce serious e-learning. Very similar to SH!FT in many respects. Company is a spin-off from a Royal Roads U project that built its previous VLE (Cedar). Complexity of authoring UX features are barriers to non-IDs and dated tutorials raise questions about longer-term support for new users. Apparent lack of reviewing functionality would seem to be a major drawback. One major advantage: the tool is free, so it could be a fall-back. Tool also seems dependent upon a set of player controls. Full-screen images and immersive experiences do not seem possible without major customization. | |
