Demi Lovato dons Fifties-style frock but retains her edgy style with shaved 'do as she steps out solo in NYC
She's known to have an edgy sense of style.
But Demi Lovato went for a more classic look in New York City on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old singer showed off her toned figure in a Fifties-style floral dress, but made sure to retain her rocker sensibility with a shaved head and blue-tinged hair.

The Heart Attack hitmaker coordinated her lipstick with red rose-patterning frock and carried a large black purse, which matched her nail polish.
She looked like she meant business, her facial expression missing its usual smile.
Demi ought to feel accomplished, as she wrapped the North American leg of her Demi World Tour on Monday at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn.
The brunette beauty was joined at her final performance by her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, 34, and good pal, UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman.

Wilmer shared a photo of the brightly lit stage with a congratulatory message to his love.
'Last night we celebrated the milestone set by your hard work, the commitment and dedication you gave yourself has gotten you to the stage that undeniably belongs to you.. Beyond proud, Te amo mi @ddlovato,' he wrote.
Demi has a break for about three weeks before kicking off her European leg in Istanbul on November 16.
Once that wraps, Demi will be hard at work on her fifth studio album.

‘The plan is for her to go back into the studio and start the next creative process,’ her manager Phil McIntyre told Billboard.
‘She’s already done some songs, but certainly the majority of it will kick off next year.’
Disney Music Group president Ken Bunt added: ‘We’re really excited. We’ve got a new album coming from her next year.
‘We’re not talking about release dates yet. And she’s going to continue her world tour throughout next year.’
