In the bleak funding environment for the arts, a new political party is campaigning on a platform of reinstating and boosting government funding for the arts.
The Arts Party is the only political party in Australia to have been created by crowdfunding, and the only political party in the world dedicated to creativity and culture.
Their most recent successful crowdfunding campaign will allow The Arts Party to run two senate candidates in all states in the upcoming federal election.
