It's golf season all over the country in the third quarter, and the result is a collection of 10 courses that make up the Southwest, Southeast and Midwest regions. Even an Arizona course managed to earn high marks during this scorching time of year in the Sonoran Desert.
We determined the list based on a combination of a course's overall and subcategory star ratings between July 1-Sept 30.
