Fitzrovia has been named the best place to live in London.
The district headlined a list of the top ten places to live in the capital, according to the Sunday Times.
Fitzrovia is known for its historic homes and was described by the guide as having ‘acquired a bit of style’.

Up and coming areas Crystal Palace, Bermondsey and Vauxhall were more surprising inclusions.
Crystal Palace was described as the ‘new Clapham’ – a comparison previously handed to Balham, Dulwich and Peckham.
Bermondsey was praised as having undergone a ‘Shoreditch-style transformation from Millwall-supporting mean streets to urban hipster paradise’.
And the guide noted that Vauxhall is a ‘diamond in the rough’.
Also included on the list are Barnes, Fulham, Greenwich, Hampstead, Islington and Kentish Town.
The newspaper’s Best Places to Live Guide list is based on factors including quality of life, crime rates, house prices and school performances.
