Daytime Heat Brings On Stormy Evening

evening

South Florida will be hot again on Saturday, and we’ll need to watch out for strong (possibly severe) storms during the late afternoon and evening. After a muggy morning, Saturday will feature hot sun, building clouds, highs near 90 degrees, and developing storms. Those storms will bring heavy rain, dangerous lightning, strong and possibly damaging winds, and even small hail.

Sunday will be another hot day with storms developing in the late afternoon once again. Sunday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

We’ll see calmer conditions next week, with a few showers and maybe a stray storm late on Monday. Monday’s highs will be in the upper 80s. Look for sun and clouds, maybe a stray shower, and highs in the mid 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
