The SALO Project Dinner.

This pains me. I was really looking forward to attending the SALO Project Dinner, a traveling Filipino pop-up dinner that is hitting up all 50 states.

Unfortunately, I have conflicting obligations. So my loss is going to be your gain. I'm giving away my two tickets to the dinner, which is happening at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Just comment on this post, share this article or RT me on Twitter, and you'll be entered to win. I'll draw a name tonight at 5 p.m. and arrange to get you the tickets.

I've never had Filipino food before, but the flier promises "a five course traditional family style dinner full of extraordinary flavors composed from local & seasonal ingredients, served on banana leaves and eaten old-school sans utensils, and an unprecedented opportunity to explore Filipino cuisine in a unique atmosphere."

I'm sure the people that end up with these tickets are going to be stoked!

Here's a little more about the SALO Project, and chef Yana Gilbuena.
